Charles “Charlie” Frederick Durr, age 91, of Branson, Missouri, passed away August 7, 2021, with family near his bedside. He was born on a farm on December 9, 1929, near Williamsburg, Iowa, the son of Carl and Jane (Pierce) Durr. Charlie was joined in marriage October 22, 1950, to Donna Chrisman.

An admirer of the friendly blue skies, Charlie was a fan of flying airplanes. He had a huge sense of humor: dancing a jig, yodeling randomly, making people laugh, and enjoying life. He was a larger-than-life character and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Charlie is preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Brenda Evans; daughter-in-law, Patricia Durr; grandson, Dustin Harrison; brother, Robert Durr; and sister, Elizabeth VonAhsen.

His is survived by his wife of 70 years, Donna Durr; four children: Dennis (Shiela) Durr of Forsyth, Missouri; David Durr of Forsyth, Missouri; Nancy Jaeger of Forsyth, Missouri; and Carole (Mark) Hautt of North Liberty, Iowa.
