Brenda Louise Baucom, age 64, of Washburn, Missouri.

Brenda Louise Baucom, age 64, of Washburn, Missouri passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving, devoted husband Bobby Baucom, her Mother and her Aunt Betty by her side.

She was born September 2, 1958 in Glen Dale, West Virginia, the daughter of Leo “Sonny” and Virginia (Duffy) Conner.  On April 1, 2005, at Spider Creek Resort, she married the love of her life, Bobby Baucom, who survives. Also surviving are her Mother, Virginia Conner; two stepdaughters, Betina (Aaron) Birdsong and Terese (Justin) Parker; four step grandchildren, Betty, Quinn, and Stella Birdsong and Oliver Parker and a wide circle of wonderful friends who were always there for her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Sonny Conner; two brothers, infant Thomas Conner and Brent Conner and her fur baby, Ansel.

Brenda grew up in the Moundsville, West Virginia area and was a graduate of John Marshall High School, class of 78.  After moving to the Fayetteville, Arkansas area in 1980 she attended Northwest Vo-Tech where she attained a degree in Computer Programming. She was employed by Mr. B’s Steak House in Rogers and George’s in Fayetteville. Together Brenda and Bobby enjoyed attending music festivals, traveling, the arts, kayaking, fishing and establishing their own little piece of paradise.  She was a fun-loving adventurous gal who followed her own drumbeat.  She surrounded herself with friends who loved music, the arts, gardening, animals, and nature in general.  She never met a stranger and was a kind, caring giving person who always offered a helping hand.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, September 12, 2022 at Fox Cemetery in Powell, under direction of Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Chaplain Gregg Mercer will conduct the services. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
