Brenda Charlene Patrick, age 65, Branson, Missouri

Brenda Charlene Patrick was born on June 27, 1957 in Branson, Missouri.  She was one of five children born to Charlie & Gladys (McGrath) Patrick and grew up in Walnut Shade.  Brenda entered the United States Army on January 9, 1980.  She was stationed at Ft. Monmouth, New Jersey as a Satellite Communication Operator assigned to 235^th Signal Detachment Rapid Deployment Force directed under The Joint Chiefs of Staff.  While serving, Brenda met Michael Skinner.  They were married on April 29, 1982 in Ocean Port, NJ. Brenda and Mike were blessed with two sons before moving their family to Ft. Richardson, Alaska. While in Alaska, Brenda worked in military housing along with raising her sons.  The family moved to Forsyth in 1992.  Brenda continued her work in executive housekeeping and had most recently been at Chateau on the Lake.  In her free time, Brenda enjoyed the outdoors.  She loved camping and spending the time with Mike relaxing.

Brenda passed away at her home in Merriam Woods on Thursday, February 23, 2023. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie & Gladys.

Brenda leaves behind her husband, Mike Skinner of Merriam Woods; her two sons, Charles Skinner (Krysta Zwicky) and Nathan Skinner all of Merriam Woods; her grandchildren, Trista, Aiden and Eleanor and four brothers, Darrell Patrick (Brenda) of Forsyth, Rick Patrick (Marilyn) of Merriam Woods, Garry Patrick (Joan) of Folsom, CA and Larry Patrick (Luanne) of Pea Ridge, AR.

Funeral services will be Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 1:00 PM in Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home & Crematory, Branson.  Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery with full military honors.
