Benjamin F. Wells-Lane
To: My beloved deceased son, Benjamin F. Wells-Lane
November 20, 1979 ~ July 3, 2026
Benjamin F. Lane, was my fourth child and was born after I lost my baby daughter that had accidentally fallen over my grandmother's bed and hung herself at 10 months. She was in a coma being taken care of by me and my second husband for another 7 months before we were told to pull her plug. You can read about my experiences in Utah under the book I wrote, Escape from Utah, to Freedom in Christ under the same name as above.
He was my cuddle baby. He quickly grew to 6'4”, became a master electrician, fixed all of his teachers electric gadgets, loved going to Radio Shack and buying boards to do complex electrical things and computer boards etc. He worked for NASA under Orbital and Northrup Grummund in Virginia. He had a beautiful son by Marie named August who looked just like him whom he loved dearly.
Ben and August helped convert this Branson Barn to a livable abode from a John Deere Tractor repair barn. I wrote about this called, God's Branson Barn, ibid.
His third wife Trish, was a dual English and American citizen and they decided to move to England. They were so happy. They would do decathlons together, hike to France, scuba dive, bike, etc. I miss my son Ben. It's been a tragic July for me.
He was killed while riding his unicycle going to a job as a handyman in England.
Services will be held at the Branson United Methodist Church with Pastor Dave Wiant officiating on Monday, October 12, 2026 at 11:00 AM.
