An update on State Volleyball Tournament Action involving area teams:
The Marshall Lady Bobcats were eliminated in the second round of the 2A Tournament at Mansfield High School in straight sets by Lavaca. Marshall ends up 1-1 in the tournament after defeating Palestine-Wheatley in the opening round on Tuesday.
In Missouri, two area schools are taking part in Class 1 Sectional Competition this evening. The School of the Ozarks Lady Patriots will host Winona in Point Lookout while the Galena Lady Bears will be on the road at Miller. Winners will play in the State Quarterfinals on Saturday.
