UPDATED STORY: Postseason Volleyball Action is underway in Arkansas with State Tournaments set to get underway in Missouri on Thursday.
The Harrison Lady Goblins defeat Westside of Jonesboro in straight games Wednesday in the Class 4A State Tournament at Shiloh Christian. The win sends the Lady Goblins to the second round this evening at 6:00 against Morrilton.
Also from Wednesday in the 2A at Quitman, Flippin lost 3-2 to Thaden Barn from Fayetteville while Cotter lost to Life Way Christian and Yellville-Summit lost to Mansfield. Earlier in the day in 3A is Bergman dropped a straight set match to Hoxie.
In Missouri, two Lakes Area Teams claimed District Championships to move on to State Tournament Play. In Class 1, Blue Eye will host the winner of tonight's Wheaton-Billings District Final in a Sectional Match Thursday while Forsyth, who upset Mountain Grove in a Class 3 District Final on Monday, will play at Strafford on Thursday.
