Two Lakes Region Schools have claimed State Titles in Cross County during the recent Missouri State High School Activities Association Championships in Columbia.
The School of the Ozarks claimed three state titles winning both the Boys and Girls Team Titles while also claiming an individual first place winner with Kellen Robertson claiming the title. On the Girls Side, Ella Howard was the top finisher taking home 10th place.
Meanwhile, another individual champion was crowned in the Class 3 Event. Sinry Mendoza, participating in Cross Country for the first time after winning several distance championships during the Spring Track Season, wins the individual boys race.
All of the Cross Country Championships were held at the Gans Creek Cross Country Course in Columbia this past weekend.
