The Harrison Lady Goblins fall a game short while two Lakes Area Missouri Schools split in State Volleyball Action Thursday.
In the Arkansas 4A Tournament in Springdale, the Lady Goblins dropped the first two games to Brookland 25-20, 25-14 before grabbing the next two games 25-17, 25-19. In the fifth and deciding game, the Lady Goblins were not able to sustain the rally as they fall 15-8. The team that beat out the Lady Goblins in the Regional Final, host school Shiloh Christian, lost in the other semi-final to Valley View.
Meanwhile in Missouri, the two lakes area teams split their Sectional Games Thursday night. Forsyth dropped a straight set match at Strafford while Blue Eye won in straight sets at home in Class 1 over Billings. The Lady Bulldogs will play in the State Quarterfinals Saturday at South Iron High School.
