Harrison Falls At Home, Road Wins for Branson, Forsyth

High School Football Friday night included big road wins for Branson and Forsyth with big losses for Harrison, Hollister, and Reeds Spring.

Branson controlled most of their contest at Willard but led only 10-0 at halftime. A 48 yard touchdown run by David Hadaller in the final minute of the third quarter gave the Pirates some breathing run followed by a long pass play and kick-off return in the fourth quarter to help the Pirates cruise to a 31-7 win. 

Forsyth also picked up a big road win at Strafford 49-25. The Panthers scored the games first 14 points and kept answering Strafford scores all night long to gain the win. 

The other MOARK Teams suffered losses Friday night, including a huge home loss for the Harrison Goblins, that saw Greenbrier post a 42-7 halftime lead and cruise to a 42-21 victory. The loss is the second in three games for the Goblins. 

A tough night as well for the Hollister Tigers as they lost for the second straight game dropping a 42-25 decision at Rogersville as Wildcat Quarterback JJ O'Neal had a big night running the ball helping his team to the win. 

Reeds Spring dropped a road contest Friday night as well losing 41-6 at McDonald County. 

In other area action, Gentry spoils the homecoming game for Green Forest as they down the Tigers 14-0 while Elkins rolls at Berryville winning 49-14.
