In High School Baseball Sectional Action on Tuesday, Forsyth Falls in Class while Hollister advances in Class 4.
In Linn, Forsyth and the host Wildcats played through the rain with a scoreless first three innings before each team capitalized on the other's mistakes to score two runs in the fourth. In the fifth, the host jumped on the Panthers for three runs and went on from there to prevail 10-4. The Panthers finish the season 13-13.
Meanwhile, Hollister holds off visiting Seneca 4-2 in their Sectional Game and move on the play at Springfield Catholic in the Quarterfinals on Thursday weather permitting. The two teams met in the Regular Season with Hollister winning the match-up of State Ranked Teams 4-3 on April 19.
