When Anthony Hays stepped down as Branson Head Football Coach in December, it was not certain whether he would stay in the District or take a new position outside of the area.

The decision became official in late February as Hays is heading to Savannah, a community located north of St. Joseph, to join that school district as Head Football Coach. Hays, who also was Assistant High School Activities Director at Branson, leaves after serving as Head Football Coach for five seasons, Hays had previous been Head Coach for the Parkview High School Program in Springfield.

Hays's Wife Joanna also will be joining the District as an Assistant Principal at the High School according to a Facebook Post.

Aaron Hafner was named in January to take over the Branson Football program next season.
