After getting two wins Friday, Branson s will play in the top pool of today's Lady Pirate Softball Tournament at the Branson Rec Plex.
On Friday, the Pirates pounded out 18 hits including two home runs in rolling over Marshfield and then survived an upset bid by Springfield Hillcrest in edging out the Lady Hornets 3-2.
Today, the Lady Pirates have a match-up against fellow Class 4 District School West Plains at 9 am followed by match-ups against COC opponents Neosho and Joplin. The Lady Pirates dropped their conference match-up with Neosho on Thursday and already have lost twice to Joplin, in their regular season game and in the Aurora Tournament.
Games will go on throughout the day on all four Branson Rec Plex Fields.
