As it was earlier this week, Branson plays a school in different sports on the same day.
After being swept in the contests Tuesday against Ozark, Thursday the Baseball and Soccer teams match-up against Joplin.
The Baseball contest, heard on MOARK Sports Dot Com, started off well for the Pirates as they got a pair of first inning runs, but the home standing Eagles took advantage of a pair of misplayed fly balls on the windy afternoon with their pitcher settling down to keep the Pirates at bay for a 6-2 win.
Meanwhile, the Soccer Lady Pirates notched a win in their contest with the Lady Eagles at Pirates Stadium, winning in overtime 2-1.
