Two-Vehicle Crash Damages Convenience Store

A traffic crash in Bull Creek injures three and damages a building.

According to information from the Missouri State Highway Patrol and the Western Taney County Fire Protection District, the crash took place around 11:20 Friday morning on Highway F when a car pulled into the path of a pick-up truck causing the collision with the vehicles then leaving the roadway and colliding with the Bull Creek Convenience Store Building. The pick-up truck went into the building while the car hit the side of the building. 

According to the WTCFPD Post, temporary shoring was installed to stabilize the building while other First Responders treated the injured in the crash and evacuate the building. According to the MSHP report, the driver of the car, 24-year-old Jacob Cheatham of Forsyth, sustained moderate injuries and was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield while two people in the pick-up truck, 56-year-old Lloyd Branson and 36-year-old Brittany Christoph both of Branson, escaped with minor injuries that were treated at Cox Medical Center in Branson.
