Table Rock Lake Chamber of Commerce Hires New Economic Development Director

The Table Rock Lake Chamber of Commerce announces a hire that will help in the "Launch Stone County" Economic Development Plan.

According to a release from the chamber, Kyle Cook joins the organization after prior work with companies involved development and construction.

The release goes on to outline Cook's role in implementing the Chamber's 5-year economic development plan which focuses on workforce development and housing as well as business retention and expansion, community development, and tourism marketing.

Kyle Cook has joined the Table Rock Lake Chamber of Commerce in Branson West as Economic Development Director. Cook formerly worked for Miller Commerce, a Springfield-based development company, where he served as Director of Design and Construction, and Director of Operations. In those roles he managed the successful development and construction of many multi-family properties in Southwest Missouri, Nebraska and Arkansas. Prior to that he worked as a department manager for Terracon Consultants, a nationwide environmental, geotechnical and construction materials company with an office in Springfield.

Cook will be responsible for the implementation of the Chamber’s 5-year economic development strategic plan, called Launch Stone County. The plan’s focus areas include business retention and expansion, business attraction, workforce development with an emphasis on workforce housing, additional tourism marketing and community development.

“Kyle is bringing a level of expertise and and a new set of skills to our team that will perfectly match the defined goals in our Launch Stone County plan,” said Sheila Thomas, Chamber President/CEO. “He will be lending his assistance to all businesses and municipalities in Stone County as we focus on growing our county’s economy.”

Cook lives in northern Stone County, residing in Nixa.
