The final blast of summer has arrived in the Lakes Region.
The National Weather Service says to expect hot temperatures over the next seven days. High temperatures could reach the mid 90s in southern Missouri over the period while in the mountains of northern Arkansas, temperatures are forecast to stay in the low 90s. Low temperatures during the period will stay primarily in the mid to upper 60s.
Little to no rain is expected during the period as well, increasing the already dry conditions in the Lakes Region.
