The Skaggs Foundation has reimagined its annual fundraiser according to a release from the foundation.

During normal years, Skaggs Foundation hosts its largest annual fundraiser in the fall, a beautiful gala. Well, this year is far from normal and Skaggs Foundation is trying to make the most of it while keeping the community and supporters safe.

“We are ecstatic to present Prom Reimagined which might be one of the quirkiest virtual fundraiser to be hosted this year,” says Skaggs Foundation President Meghan Connell. “We’ve gathered up some of the most fun, zany people we know, many of which were happy to spill their most embarrassing moments, and then we have pitted them against each other in the race to be crowned Prom King and Queen.”

Prom Queen Candidates are Brandei Clifton, of Cox Medical Center Branson; Kristina Hagey, of Titanic Museum Attraction; Pam Critchfield, of The Critchfield Agency; and Pam Yancey, of Arvest Bank. King Candidates include Avery Cole, of Fritz’s Adventure; Blake Robbins, of The Robbins Group; Brad Swofford, of Branson Public Schools; and William Mahoney, of Cox Medical Center Branson.

The candidates who raise the most money will be crowned Prom King and Queen on Nov. 2. Donations may be made directly in support of a candidate OR anyone who wants to support a candidate AND get something for themselves will enjoy the foundation’s online auction.

The online auction runs Oct. 25-Nov. 1 on SkaggsFoundation.org.

“It’s safe to say we have a very unique list of auction items, but absolutely amazing items that are perfect for filling Christmas wish-lists, pampering someone you love, or just keeping for yourself,” Connell said. “Our biggest item is a new roof, which is valued at $10,000. We also have an 800 pound beef steer ready to fill someone’s freezer, and then we have lots of beautiful and fun gift baskets, golf packages, getaways, boat rentals and much more.”
