One of Silver Dollar City's most popular festivals gets underway today.
The Southern Gospel Picnic presented by Humana features nightly concerts at the Echo Hollow Amphitheatre plus other performances throughout the park. The Picnic also highlight's many southern cuisine favorites including Fried Chicken.
The Southern Gospel Picnic runs now through Labor Day on September 6 with an off day scheduled next Monday.
