The legacy of female veterans was celebrated during Branson Veterans’ Homecoming Week with a special ceremony at the Stone Castle Hotel and Convention Center on Wednesday, Nov. 8.
The 19th Annual Rose Petal Ceremony to honor female veterans and those who gave their lives in service to the country were given a luncheon, a program with a patriotic theme hosted by Pat Veach of the Clay Cooper Theater, and an opportunity to remember veterans with a rose petal release ceremony.
“We want you to know how much we value each and every one of you,” Veach said. “The sacrifices you have made, the sacrifices of your family. It’s not taken lightly by any of us.”
