Ozarks Water Watch Ramps Programs Back Up in 2021

After a slow year in 2020 due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, an area organization devoted to preserving water quality in the Lakes Region is geared up for a busy 2021.

Ozarks Water Watch will conduct Shoreline Clean-ups this September in Missouri along Bull Shoals and Table Rock Lakes along with Lake Taneycomo as well as take part in promoting the annual Secchi Day Event along Beaver Lake in Arkansas in August.

Cathy Stepp, Executive Director of Ozarks Water Watch, talks about the need for volunteers as well as financial help for their programs during a recent interview on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" Program.  Stepp says the organization looks to continue working with the public as well as work with policy makers in both Missouri and Arkansas discussing regulations that can benefit the entire White River Basin Watershed.
