Ozarks Now Talks About the Passing of Don Paul, Dan Lennon

Two people known to audiences in the Tri-Lakes Region have passed away.

Don Paul was a longtime radio personality who was on the ground floor of building KTTS Radio into a dominate station in Springfield and southwest Missouri in the 70's and 80's. Later, Don was program director for several years at KRZK Radio in Branson which is now part of the Ozarks Dynacom Family of Stations. Don also helped develop the program with Grand County Music Hall now know as Branson Country, USA and was it's host for several years. (Photo courtesy of United Church of God, Springfield)

Also passing away over the weekend was Dan Lennon, who along with the Lennon Family made their way to Branson in the 90's as part of the launch of the Lawrence Welk Theater. He was a part of the Lennon Brothers and Gail Lennon Show and when he cut down on his on stage performances, began working in marketing first with the Branson Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce then eventually at the state level as Assistant, then as Director as the Missouri Division of Tourism, a position he held for three years until his retirement in 2018.
