The Chrisitian County Communities of Ozark and Nixa are rivals in many competitions over the year, especially in High School Sports. This week, the two communities are competing against each other for a good cause.
The annual Blood Drive Challenge between the two communities got underway Tuesday with Ozark having their day for community members to donate at a drive at Ozark’s First Baptist Church. Citizens of Nixa have a chance to answer on Thursday with their drive at Nixa City Hall.
Nixa has won the previous three challenges with the blood donations going to the Community Blood Center of the Ozarks to stock hospitals in the region.
