A fire in Forsyth results in a fatality.
According to a post from the City of Forsyth, firefighters from the city's department as well as from Central and Western Taney County responded to a structure fire on Shadowrock Drive on Saturday. The post mentions there was one fatality at the scene. The name of the victim has not yet been released.
Fire Marshalls were called in to help determine the cause of the blaze.
In a follow-up post on Sunday, Forsyth Fire Officials say that more information will be released when available.
