A traffic crash in Highlandville Monday afternoon kills one person and injuries another.
According to the release from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a car driven by 80-year-old Norma Wisnant of Clever crossed the centerline of Highway 160 and collided with a pick-up truck driven by 46-year-old Michael Jackson of Highlandville. Wisnant was pronounced dead at the scene while Jackson was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment of his moderate injuries. This is the 30th fatality in traffic crashes worked by the Missouri State Highway Patrol in 2024.
