Two traffic crashes worked by the Missouri State Highway Patrol Wednesday results in one death and moderate injuries for another victim.
The fatality crash took place just after Noon on Highway OO near Kimberling City when a pickup truck driven by 73-year-old Randolph Yocum of Reeds Spring ran off the roadway and overturned. Yocum was pronounced dead at the scene. This is the 86th fatality in traffic crashes worked by Troop D in 2022.
A crash involving a vehicle overturning also takes place earlier in the day on Highway 76 east of Branson. The crash took place just before 11:00 am when a car driven by 78-year-old Phillip Holland of Eureka Springs ran off the road, struck a culvert, and overturned. Holland was taken to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for treatment of his injuries.
