The man whose body was found in Table Rock Lake over the weekend has been identified.
According to a release from the Overland Park, Kansas Police Department, the Missouri State Highway Patrol confirmed that the body that was recovered Saturday in a submerged vehicle at Joe Bald Park near Kimberling City was 73-year-old Steven Lieurance. Lieurance had been missing since not returning home from work at a dentist office on June 2. Overland Park Police had put out a release asking for help on his whereabouts and had recently received information that his vehicle had been spotted in Reeds Spring.
According to a previous report, a diver spotted the vehicle on Saturday and MSHP Divers along with the Southern Stone County Fire Protection District had recovered the vehicle and the driver.
Overland Park Police is continuing their investigation into this incident.
