Hirschi: Many Projects Underway at Reeds Spring School District

Reeds Spring School Superintendent Dr. Codi Hirschi says several things are moving forward as the 2022-23 School Year gets underway.

During an interview on KRZK's "Ozarks Now" program, Hirschi says students, staff, and teachers are looking forward to a year getting closer to normal after the COVID-19 Pandemic. Hirschi says that most students are onsite with a smaller number still doing remote learning. Hirschi says the district continues a slow but steady growth in the number of students.

Hirschi also talks about the large number of projects that are underway including the current renovation of the Primary School which has forced the relocation of Kindergarten and First Grade Students to a former school building now being used by New Testament Church for this school year. The renovation will expand that facility and will be ready for the next school year. Also underway is the development of a new building for the Omar Gibson Career Center which currently serves 11 area school districts that is expected to be completed in two years.
