Harrison Noon Lions Club's 32 Annual Chili Supper on Friday Night for $10

The Harrison Noon Lions Club is hosting the 32 annual chili supper on Jan. 26, and the dinner will run from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. according to Judy McCutcheon.

McCutcheon, who has been in the club for 25 years, appeared on KHOZ's "Around The Table" to discuss the dinner. It will take place at Harrison High School during "colors day." The indoor dinner provides all you can eat chili for $10 a person. Tickets are available for purchase in advance.

Coleslaw, dessert and a drink are included. Anyone wanting to enjoy the food without staying at the high school need not worry.

McCutcheon said a drive-thru will operate by KLIFE and the high school. Drive-thru users will get as many meals as they have tickets and isn't all you can eat.

She said usually about 300 meals are served via the drive-thru. Money raised will go to fund eye exams and eyeglasses that the local club chapter gives to anyone who can't afford them. The individuals who receive free exams and glasses get them by applying.

"It's just so neat to help those people that need help," McCutcheon said. More was discussed on the broadcast.

The full interview with McCutcheon is on the "Around The Table" Facebook Page.
