A traffic crash around 4:00 Thursday afternoon on the east side of Branson West results in several injuries and the slowing of traffic.
According to a post by the Southern Stone County Fire Protection District, the two-vehicle crash in the 8000 block of East Highway 76. The post said the location of the crash resulted in traffic being slowed during the evening commute for around an hour.
Branson West Police and the Stone County Sheriff’s Department responded to the call as did Mercy Ambulance personnel, who treated several people for injuries and transported one driver to an area hospital for further treatment.
The accident is being investigated by the Branson West Police Department.
