The 2023 Year End Convention Center Report highlights success in Branson and future goals.
Angie Teel, who has been with the Branson Convention Center since October, said that one of the goals for the center is a "net positive financial performance."
That involves handling tax money correctly. Doing so will include updating the sales and marketing plan and more, like using the ASM Global service catalog.
Another goal is to produce good products and service. The convention center will put resources into training staff. They will also update the event policy guide and create a venue operating document.
Teel highlighted a goal centered on employee satisfaction. That goal was kicked off with a survey.
Teel noted that continuous communication is something that is fostered. She also mentioned celebrating employees.
Last year, 226,869 visitors entered the convention center. 154 events occurred in the center. Teel noted that events run there for an average of 2.6 days.
She also said that the success generated an impact on the economy of over $57 million.
