A Texas County man is in the Taney County Jail charged with chasing a person with a knife.
According to Court Documents filed by the Branson Police Department, Zacchaeus Viers of Cabool attempted to stab an individual with a knife outside of that person’s place of employment on October 1. When officers arrived, Viers admitted to having a knife and chasing the person. Viers referred to the victim using a racial slur.
Branson Police also discovered that Viers is on probation plus has other charges pending in Howell County.
Viers is being held without bond facing felony charges of attempted assault, unlawful use of a weapon, and armed criminal action.
