Branson Man Faces Charges in Beating Incident

A Branson man who had been living in a hotel on Shepherd of the Hills Expressway is facing up to 16 years in prison if convicted on charges related to an incident in August 2023.

Jesse Jabin Flory is facing one count of First Degree Assault or Attempted Assault, a Class B felony, and Fourth Degree Assault, a Class A Misdemeanor. If convicted on the charges, the Class B felony brings a sentence between five and 15 years in prison; the misdemeanor charge could bring up to one year in jail.

According to court documents, on Aug. 4, 2023, Flory was seen on video at first victim’s home running up a set of stairs behind the first victim and then punching the victim in the back of the head. A second victim tried to intervene, but was pushed away by Flory, resulting in her cutting her arm.

Flory is scheduled to be arraigned in Taney County Court on Thursday, Oct. 19. He is currently being held without bond in the Taney County Jail.
