Branson Cares returns to Mexico: Volunteers assemble, distribute pediatric wheelchairs

A little girl in Mexico who is unable to walk due to a disability was given her first taste of what it’s like to have mobility as she was placed in a free pediatric wheelchair, paid for by donations collected more than 2500 miles away in the United States.

This is just one of the many success stories witnessed by the group of Branson Cares representatives who made the trek across the border to La Paz, Mexico, Baja California Sur earlier this month to assemble and distribute free pediatric wheelchairs to children.

For this second annual Branson Cares mission trip to La Paz, Branson Cares Ambassador Bob Nichols was joined by members of the Hughes Brothers Theatre: Jason, Mara, Andy, Jonathan and Rosey, as well as Branson Tri-Lakes Managing Editor Tim Church, to witness first hand the international impact the fundraising efforts taking place in Branson are and have been making.
