Bass Pro Shops Founder Johnny Morris last week announces his organizations continuing efforts to support veterans with an additional contribution to a housing program for veterans.
ShThe announcement came last week as Morris presented a home to one veteran and paid off the mortgage for another veteran as the company's initial donation to the "Helping a Hero" Organization.
According to a press release from Bass Pro, Morris had initially pledged 10 new specially designed homes for the organization but added at last week's ceremony that was nationally televised by FOX News that Bass Pro would finance 25% of the next 100 homes to help encourage people and bring awareness to the program.
The release also states that this is part of Bass Pros' continuing support of many veterans programs including several memorials at College of the Ozarks as well as hosing events like "Fishing Dreams" on Table Rock Lake for disabled veterans.
