No Comment from State Auditor's Office on Taney County Request
 By: Monte Schisler, News Director The State Auditor’s office has no comment today, as it relates to the request from the Taney County Commission for a comprehensive audit. Auditor Spokesman Spence Jackson declined to answer any questions from HometownDailyNews.com, and wouldn’t confirm if any Taney County officials have been in contact with the State Auditor’s office. Jackson was also asked when an audit of this type could start, and how long it might take to complete – and again, he declined to answer with any specifics. =====(2nd Version)===== Mums the word from the State Auditors office as it relates to the request from the Taney County Commission for a comprehensive audit. Auditor spokesman Spence Jackson said he had no comment when asked if the auditor’s office has been in contact with Taney County officials, or when an inquiry might start.
