A one car accident Friday morning on Mount Branson backed up traffic on East Highway 76 for about an hour.

The Western Taney County Fire Department says the first crews on the scene found a car off the road, standing upright on its front end, at East 76 and Candlestick Road. The driver was able to crawl out of the vehicle and refused medical care. It’s not clear how the accident happened.

The State Highway Patrol is still investigating the crash.  The name of the person involved has not been released.
