Heil says information has been obtained in the continuing investigation regarding alleged sales of the synthetic marijuana products at other businesses in the county.  She says the plant-like material is being sprayed with a chemical compound that’s essentially a plant fertilizer.  It’s sometimes marketed as incense, potpourri, bath salts, and even shoe deodorizer.  Heil says law enforcement agencies wants to get the synthetic marijuana products off the streets because of the potentially dangerous effects when smoked or snorted.  Heil says the fact that the products are sold in a store doesn’t mean they’re safe.

I've never even heard of this stuff. K-2...sounds like something you'd buy to pour down your septic tank to clear the lateral lines. People are NUTS for smoking, snorting, and injecting all this junk.

Why isn't the name of the establishment where the k2 was sold mentioned? Why protect the business, I think they're as responsible as the individual who purchases it!! They know why it's being bought, and it isn't for potpourri ect!!!
