Danny Waggoner faces sentencing in April after pleading guilty to charges in connection with a home invasion in Powersite in June of last year. 

The 24-year-old from Harrison-Arkansas entered the plea during a court appearance Thursday to charges of burglary, tampering with a motor vehicle and armed criminal action.

Waggoner was shot by the homeowner when she returned to her residence and found Waggoner inside.  He was taken to a Springfield hospital, and walked away eight days later.  He disappeared until September, when he was arrested in South Dakota, finally being returned to Taney County in November after pleading guilty to several charges in that state, including drunk driving.  

Sentencing for Danny Waggoner is scheduled for April 19.
