Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee is using his political prowess to help raise money for Missouri politicians running for local, state and national office.

Huckabee was guest speaker Thursday at the House Republican Campaign Committee fundraiser, attended by over 200 Republican Party supporters and politicians at the Ramada Oasis Convention Center. 

Attendees paid anywhere from 125-dollars for lunch, up to 5-thousand dollars for a premium table for ten, that included a private meet-and-greet reception with Huckabee.

Several Branson area business owners and lawmakers attended the event.

The current radio and television talk show host, and political activist told those in attendance that Republicans aren’t right all the time, and Democrats aren’t wrong all the time. Huckabee says it’s a statement that proved him well when he was a Republican Governor, surrounded by a room full of party members from the other side of the aisle:

Huckabee also said between now and the November general election, voters are fully about survival of the economy.  He said real reform will come from the state level for such things as education, health care, and job creation.  Huckabee encouraged attendees to donate as much as they could to Republican candidates and Republican causes, reminding party faithful they can change Americaone state at a time.
