A woman from Lampe was seriously injured in a head-on collision Wednesday morning at Highways 13 and 86 in Stone County.

The Missouri Highway Patrol reports 36-year-old Jennifer Gideon was a passenger in a westbound car driven by 40-year-old Darren Gideon, also of Lampe.  According to the report, an eastbound car driven by 26-year-old Andrew Lietzen of Kimberling City failed to yield, turning in front of Gideon’s car. 

Jennifer Gideon was taken to Skaggs Regional Medical Center in Branson.
