Five people were treated for minor injuries following a crash on 65 north of Branson.

The Missouri Highway Patrol reports a car driven by 19-year-old Meranda Appleberry of Rockaway Beach was stopped in the southbound passing lane just south of 160 around 5:30 Wednesday evening, when it was hit from behind by another car, driven by 43-year-old Donald Blubaugh of Rockaway Beach.  Appleberry’s car then overturned into the median.

Western Taney County Fire reports that because of the time of the crash, traffic was backed up in both directions on 65 while crews worked to clean up debris and remove the damaged cars.

Both drivers and three other passengers in Appleberry’s car were taken to Skaggs in Branson for treatment.
