Fifteen members of seven families were displaced by the fire, which destroyed the apartment.  Units on either side suffered fire damage.  All 10 units in the building were affected, some by smoke and water.  Nielsen says according to the property owner, all 7 families were renters in the former resort building, and none had insurance.
