A man from Shell Knob has pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter in connection with a fatal crash in Barry County.

Twenty-seven year old Nicholas Kulhanek waived formal arraignment Tuesday in Barry County circuit court. He’s also charged with leaving the scene of an accident and driving while intoxicated.

Forty-nine year old Aaron Poston of Shell Knob died in the crash last summer on Highway 39. According to the report from the Missouri Highway Patrol, Kulhanek turned his car in front of Poston’s motorcycle.

Kuhlanek remains in the Barry County Jail on 250-thousand dollars bond. He’s due back in court February 19.
